1. WAKE - No singing in this song. Starts with a soft instramental and works its way up. Eventually at the end the drums will sound, a pretty good way to start the album. (1:40)

2. GIVEN UP - Possibly the loudest song of the album, its loud all the way through. Chorus is the best part. *WARNING* This song contains uncensored swearing. (3:09)

3. LEAVE OUT ALL THE REST - A bit of a softie but as it goes along it starts to raise especially in the chorus, its a very emotional song. (3:29)

4. BLEED IT OUT - A combination of medium metal with some rapping. This is the first song of the album we get to hear Mike Shinoda. He does a lot of effort into this song. Oddly enough this the only song apart from WAKE that goes for less than 3 minutes. *WARNING* This song contains uncensored swearing. (2:44)

5. SHADOW OF THE DAY - Another emotional song, but this one is more beaty. Again another song thats most effective in the chorus. (4:49)

6. WHAT I'VE DONE - Possibly the most popular song on the album, but not exactly the best, although it has its moments. The music is reasonably approapriate but more effort from Chesters singing could've improved this song. (3:25)

7. HANDS HELD HIGH - If your into rap music then you'll love this song because throughout the entire song, this song is in a moderate rap. Also some instramentals in this song. *WARNING* This song contains uncensored swearing. (3:53)

8. NO MORE SORROW - If you remember the song 'A Place For My Head' from Hybrid Theory this song has basically the same start except there's no turntable beats in this one. A really graet song for screaming music fans. (3:41)

9. VALENTINES DAY - Guessing from its title you probably guessed it 'Another emotional song!' Well, your right. This song basically explains what its like being alone on Valentines Day. While the song starts of soft it gets way better. Towards the end, the real music kicks in. Listen to it and you'll see what a mean! (3:16)

10. IN BETWEEN - If you listen to this song you can hardly believe it was sung by Mike Shinoda or even anyone from Linkin Park. But Mike Shinoda does sing this song. This song isn't exactly my most favourite mainly because its a softie of the different kind. P.S. Its another freaking emotional song!!!!!! (3:16)

11. IN PIECES - This perhaps is the most rythm based song of the album. I listened to it and I couldn't stop singing it. Even though this is not one of those screamer songs it is good to listen to, trust me! (3:38)

12. THE LITTLE THINGS GIVE YOU AWAY - Once again an emotional based song and another softie but this one is better. As you listen to this song you'll begin to notice the singing and music is increasing, and it is! Not only is this song the longest but it has a near one minute sing free solo and thats where the best part is.... i don't want to spoil the rest but listen to this one even though if your not a fan of softies as it progresses you must agree this song ROX!
